Andrew Murphy
Andy trained and qualified locally and has essentially worked in the profession since leaving Southend High School.  He understands business and people, he strives to ensure he knows what makes them tick.  Thinking ahead and outside of the box often provides solutions that people didn't even know they needed!!  Andy lives locally too and away from work enjoys playing golf (when time permits) and watching all the sports he used to play!

Joanne Ellis-Bailey
Jo is the manager of the audit and company accounts department.  Her team produces the accounts for limited companies and also manages the audits for those companies requiring them.  She is a Fellow of the Association of Accounting Technicians and has been working in the profession for longer than she cares to acknowledge!

Jo also enjoys playing golf, going to the gym and spending time with her husband and teenage daughter.

Denise Francis
Denise is a member of the audit team.  She has worked with Andrew and Joanne for nearly 20 years.  She is responsible for collating information and processing limited company accounts.

On a personal note she has been married for 39 years and has one son.  Denise loves holidays abroad and enjoys gardening and reading.

Kevin Slater
Kevin is the manager of the accounts department.  His team produce the accounts for sole traders, partnerships and a large number of companies that do not require audit.  The accounts department also prepares personal, partnership and company tax returns, CIS returns and VAT returns, as well as providing bookkeeping lessons and arranging company formations.  Kevin also has good experience of Sage Line 50 and Sage Instant Accounts.

Kevin is kept very busy, when not in the office, with his young family.  But when he does have some free time, he likes to spend it watching football (he supports Sheffield United), playing badminton and snooker, but not all at the same time!  He also likes eating out and going to the cinema.

John Drage
John is semi-senior member of the accounts production team and has been working in accountancy for the last 25 years.  He is a member of The Association Of Accounting Technicians.  John's work includes the preparation of accounts and tax returns for sole traders and partnerships and small limited company work.  He has knowledge of Excel, Sage Accounts Production and Personal Taxation.

John's main interests include keeping fit by playing badminton, tennis and swimming.  He loves spending time with his two young sons, who certainly keep him active!
